T-Mobile to Sell iPhone in Austria
Monday, February 11th, 2008 at 3:00 PM - by Jeff Gamet
It looks like Apples iPhone is set to launch in Austria some time in the first half of 2008, and T-Mobile will be the exclusive carrier. The news comes from T-Mobile Chief Executive Hamid Akhavan, according to Reuters.
Apple and T-Mobile already have a distribution deal in Germany, so expanding out into Austria together is likely a good fit for both companies.
T-Mobile did not state exactly when it plans to launch the iPhone in Austria. Apple has not confirmed Mr. Akhavans announcement.
