The Flux Starts iPod Video Film Festival
Monday, January 2nd, 2006 at 2:00 PM - by Brad Cook
The Flux, which opened its doors last March as a home for creators and viewers of short films, on Tuesday announced the start of its first iPod Film Festival. Starting Feb. 1, viewers will be able to download short films from four categories -- student films, indie films, family clips and music videos -- and vote for their favorites.
Flux is now taking submissions. All videos must be less than 10 minutes long and formatted for playback on a video iPod. The company's Web site also offers guidelines for each category. The submission fee is US$15, and Flux has partnered with R Cubed Productions to offer video conversion services. All entries must be received by Jan. 25.
