Visto Announces Availability of Corp. Access for iPhone

Visto announced the immediate availability of its Visto Mobile for the Apple iPhone for individuals and corporate IT departments. iPhone users will be able to access corprate e-mail via Outlook or Lotus Notes without loading software on the iPhone or changes to corporate firewalls.

"The iPhone has been a game-changing mobile device with unprecedented sales and consumer excitement," said Doug Brackbill, Executive Vice President and CMO of Visto. "We are pleased to provide iPhone users with secure access to corporate email in addition to the many lifestyle applications that are already available with this device. With Visto Mobile, the iPhone becomes the single resource for an individual’s personal and professional needs."

Visto Mobile users will also be able to conduct corporate directory lookups, search, place a call, send an e-mail, or get directions to that person’s physical address.

Visto Mobile for iPhone is free for 60 days. After 60 days, the service is priced at US$10 per device per month.

Visto announced the launch of this service in June, 2007.
