Wi-Fi TV Wants to Undercut Apple TV Price With its Own Box

Wi-Fi TV, which offers over 450 channels of content via Real Player or Windows Media Player, on Wednesday said at CES that it is working on its own set-top box that it would price below Apple TV’s US$299. "Wi-Fi TV would make its own branded set top box available for sale over the Internet and would try to significantly undercut the $300 approximate price of the new Apple TV set top box," Wi-Fi TV Chairman Alex Kanakaris said.
