XtremeMac Announces HDMI Switcher, Cables for Apple TV

XtremeMac announced on Thursday their 4x1 HDMI Switcher and cables for Apple TV.

The HDMI Switcher has four HDMI inputs, one output and is compatible with all HDCP devices. The input is selected via a remote control or the on-unit button. It is sized the same as the Apple TV for easy stacking.

The unit is priced at US$99.95 and is available for pre-order. Expected delivery was quoted as "mid to late April."

XtremeMac also announced their line of modestly priced HDMI cables. These cables are 24K gold-plated, meet the latest HDMI specification, and have been selected by Apple for their retail store displays. The 6.6 ft (2 m.) HDMI to HDMI cable is available immediately and priced at US$19.95. Component video, HDMI to DVI, Toslink, and standard audio cables are also available.
