    • This album bears every flavor of genius from the five records that came before. It is, I believe, the band's finest. With Physical Graffiti, Zep came raging back to their musical home territory -- har

    • Go Away White is an album I've been waiting more than 20 years to hear, and the good news is that it was worth the wait.  The latest -- and last, no...for real this time -- album from

    • We all know it, right? Well, ya just gotta have it. 2112 finally showed Rush out on their own, doing their own thing, and doing it well, IMHO.

Alice in Wonderland, Spartacus Headed to iPhone

A pair of high-profile characters are headed to screens big and small next year, and both will have accompanying iPhone games: Alice in Wonderland - directed by Tom Burton and starring Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, and others - hits movie theaters next March, while Spartacus: Blood and Sand, starring Lucy Lawless of Xena: Warrior Princess and Battlestar Galactica fame and Andy Whitfield in the title role, will debut on the Starz network next January.

Burton's film takes place as an adult Alice returns to the world she visited in Lewis Carroll's late 19th century books. This time, however, she finds herself in Underland, where she must call on help from the Mad Hatter (Depp), the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Cheshire Cat, and other well-known characters as she seeks to end the Red Queen's reign of terror and turn Underland back into Wonderland. The iPhone game will be released as a promo version this December before the full version sees release in 2010.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand promises to be an epic gladiator TV series that will also receive exposure in a comic book series (the show is being previewed at this week's San Diego Comic Con) and a line of trading cards. The iPhone game doesn't have a release date.
