- This record is perhaps U2's finest hour, yet it has been forgotten as a strange by-product of the ZooTV tour's overload, and is generally regarded by most fans as a poor effort. It is this sentiment t

- Ray LaMontagne

Apple Brings Back iPhone Availability Tracker
Monday, June 29th, 2009 at 7:57 AM - by Jeff Gamet
Apple's iPhone availability Web page, popular after the launch of the iPhone 3G last year, made a come back over the weekend. Like before, the Web page lets users check for iPhone 3GS availability at Apple retail locations on a daily basis.
The availability tracker will likely come in handy for potential iPhone 3GS buyers since many of Apple's stores are having difficulty keeping models in stock. This year, the tracker seems to be updating availability status throughout the day, making it easier to find out where specific models are available before making a trip to the store.
The 16GB white and 32GB black iPhone 3GS models seem to be the most popular based on availability. Both seem to be sold out at more locations than the 16GB black and 32GB white models.
Some markets where completely sold out as of Monday morning. Alabama, Oregon, parts of California and Florida, and most of Maryland, for example were out of iPhones.
Apple's iPhone 3GS availability checker is at the Apple Web site.
