Apple Turns to Korea’s LG Display for Future LCD Panels

South Korea's LG Display on Monday said that it has committed to a five-year deal to supply LCD panels to Apple, Marketwatch reported. LG will receive US$500 million upfront. No further details were announced.

This is not the first time.  The iMac G4 was made with LG displays, and had its release delayed because LG had an inert gas spill in its factory.
