    • The Redwalls
    • Wow! Perhaps my 5-star rating is simply because the Redwalls are not only new and fresh (none of them older than 22!), or perhaps its because -- despite their ages -- they are able to totally capture

    • This quasi-concept album (the only of its kind) from these Vermonters finally showcased their ability to convey a message with a studio album, whereas previously they only succeeded in doing so live.

AT&T Says it Activated More Than 1.6 Million 3G iPhones in Q1

In its announcement of its first quarter financial results, AT&T said that it activated over 1.6 million 3G iPhones during the first three months of the year, with 40 percent of those customers new to the cellular carrier. The iPhone also helped the company more than double the number of integrated devices on its network, with 31.7 percent of its subscribers using such devices.

In addition, the iPhone drove a doubling of the number of 3G devices on AT&T's network, with 40.8 percent of its subscribers using 3G devices. The company has said that it is doubling its 3G network capacity and is testing download speeds that are twice as fast as those currently available. While the 3G iPhone has been a hit for Apple and AT&T, users in dense metropolitan areas have complained about excessive dropped calls and download speeds that are slower than advertised.
