Bring Your iPod and iPhone To The Big(ger) Screen

ezGear announced the release of the ezGear Video Cable for iPod and iPhone on Thursday. The new Video Cable takes advantage of Apple’s Authentification chip, allowing users to play video stored in their iPods or iPhones on any video display device.

The ezGear Video Cable for iPod includes an iPod dock connector on one end and four connectors on the other end: Video Signal, Left Audio Channel, Right Audio Channel, and USB Connector. The Video and audio connectors connect to a TV while the USB port allows the iPod to charge simultaneously.

The ezGear Video Cable is three feet long and shielded to reduce interference. ezGear also offers a video extension cable that extends the video cable from 3 feet to 6 feet.

The ezGear Video Cable for iPod and iPhone is compatible with the following Models:

  • iPod Touch G1 and Touch G2
  • iPhone 1G & iPhone 3G
  • iPod Classic
  • iPod nano G4 & iPod nano G3
  • iPod Video 5G

The ezGear Video Cable for iPod is available through the company’s Web site for US$39.99. An introductory price of US$29.99 is available for the month of April.
