Color-Matching Game LUXOR Arrives on iPhone

Publisher Plus+ on Wednesday announced the release of MumboJumbo's color-matching game LUXOR for iPhone and iPod touch. Set in ancient Egypt, the game challenges players to fire spheres into an ever-moving chain and create matches of three or more of the same color, which disappear. If the chain reaches its destination, the game ends.

LUXOR, which has previously been available for other mobile devices as well as Mac and PC, uses the iPhone's multi-touch interface and accelerometer to allow players to slide, tap, shake, and tilt their winged shooter and launch power-ups. Eighty-eight levels are included, and Plus+'s technology allows players to challenge friends via Facebook, and see if they can land their scores on global leader boards. Plus+ is a division of prolific iPhone game publisher ngmoco.
LUXOR sells for US$2.99 and requires iPhone OS 2.2.1.
