DISH Network Announces Slingbox Integration, iPhone Remote Control en Route

Recently, digital cable provider DISH TV announced plans to incorporate Slingbox technology into several of its upcoming digital video recorder set-set boxes. This will allow users to access the Internet and configure their DVR device via a web site or iPhone or iPod touch handset.
Per these new features, users can also control the DVR from their Mac, PC or iPhone as well as find, watch and record programming from Sling.com as well as use the SlingGuide program to organize both conventional and Internet-based programming.
Final price and release dates have yet to be disclosed for the new DVR units.
