DOOM Comes to the iPhone With a New Adventure

id Software has released DOOM Resurrection for iPhone, the latest DOOM title that features a new adventure in the saga of a lone Marine trying to survive a Martian research facility where all Hell has broken loose, literally. Players have all the well-known DOOM weapons at their disposal, including the shotgun, chainsaw, and more, as they make their way through six levels on Mars and two in Hell.

The game features helpful NPCs as well as many of the beasts that appeared in DOOM 3 for Mac and PC, which was a retelling of the original game that put id Software on the game industry map in 1993. Pricing is US$9.99 and iPhone OS 2.2.1 is required.
