- Goldfrapp
On their latest CD, Supernature, Goldfrapp has put together a successful mix of 1980-era New Romanticism, German cabaret, and T. Rex glam that leaves you riveted even through the album's lulls. It's a great amalgam that sounds current without sounding at all dated.

Early iPhone 3G S Arrival? Think Again
Wednesday, June 17th, 2009 at 8:19 AM - by Jeff Gamet
Some iPhone 3G S buyers have been waiting in anticipation hoping they might get their new combination iPod and smartphone on Wednesday instead of Friday, but those UPS shipments that looked to have early delivery dates have been stalled until the end of the week. Apple apparently asked UPS to hold the shipments until the intended delivery date, which means the chance that the iPhone 3G S will be seen in the wild before Friday is slim.
The comments on Twitter from earlier in the week expressing excitement over the possibility of getting an iPhone 3G S two days ahead of the scheduled launch changed to disappointment by Wednesday morning when early buyers began talking about how their shipments were delayed.
Some iPhone buyers have bantered around the idea of driving to their UPS office to see if they can pick up their package today. The odds are, however, that those iPhones are safely tucked away in the UPS sorting facility in Kentucky -- and if any have made it to local facilities, they'll likely stay there until Friday even if early buyers show up in person.
