Eos Converge Streams Music to Multiple Sources

SAN FRANCISCO -- Eos Wireless on Tuesday introduced Eos Converge, which streams music from an iPod, iPhone, AppleTV, or computer to home audio systems or to any Eos receiver within 150 feet. The system also supports Internet and satellite radio, such services as Pandora and Rhapsody, and other brands of MP3 players.
When used with an iPhone or iPod touch and Apple's free Remote app, which links into iTunes, users can also remotely control music selection and playback over their wireless network. Eos Converge systems can use any Eos Converge transmitter or original Eos iPod docking station to stream music to up to four areas.
The company said the new system will be available in March, with prices starting at US$89.95 per component. A product page was not available on the Eos Wireless web site as this article was published.
