Find Your Way Around Amsterdam With Your iPhone

Mekentosj BV and Hammink Design BNO announced Thursday that Infomaps Amsterdam is available for the iPhone and iPod touch. Infomaps Amsterdam is a practical tourist and public transport guide for Amsterdam.

This iPhone App contains information about various attractions in the Amsterdam vicinity. These attractions are also coupled to tram, metro and train destinations. Infomaps Amsterdam tells users which lines to take and at which stations to exit.

iPhone 3G users have the added benefit of using the GPS in tandem with Infomaps Amsterdam to see their current location and the closest transportation options. Users do not need an active 3G or WiFi connection to use the application, since the program is self-contained.

Infomaps Amsterdam for iPhone and iPod touch is available at the App Store for US$2.99.
