  • 2112

    • 10 out of 10
    • Rush
    • We all know it, right? Well, ya just gotta have it. 2112 finally showed Rush out on their own, doing their own thing, and doing it well, IMHO.
  • Album Of The Year

    • 10 out of 10
    • Brother Love
    • Killer grooves, catchy riffs, edgy vocals with oh-so-just-right layered harmonies, and a drive that will move even YOU out of your chair, Brother Love's initial release is what rock and roll should be
  • De Nova

    • 10 out of 10
    • The Redwalls
    • Wow! Perhaps my 5-star rating is simply because the Redwalls are not only new and fresh (none of them older than 22!), or perhaps its because -- despite their ages -- they are able to totally capture
  • Goodbye Jumbo

    • 8 out of 10
    • World Party
    • Released in 1990, World Party's

  • Mezzanine

    • 6 out of 10
    • Massive Attack
    • "Black Milk" knocks me off my feet in this collection of moody and eclectic songs. Massive Attack uses samples and keyboards in a very unique way, but not all the songs pack the same punch.

Five Indie Developers Offer iPhone Games Bundle

A quintet of small developers have teamed up to offer the 5 Fingers Games Bundle at the App Store. The games include: Chopper, Up There, Sneezies, BurnBall, and Blackbeard’s Assault. The bundle sells as one package that’s loaded on an iPhone or iPod touch as a single application, saving space for those who are bumping up against the 148-app limit.

Chopper is a side-scrolling action game. Up There challenges players to guide a balloon away from barriers as it tries to fly into the sky. Sneezies is an action puzzle game. In BurnBall, players control Roy as he tries to save his friends from the evil Dr. Gray. And Blackbeard’s Assault is a puzzle game in which players fire a ball into a chain, creating like-colored matches that explode; all the balls need to be cleared before they reach the X.

Clockwise from top left: BurnBall, Chopper, Sneezies

The 5 Fingers Game Bundle sells for US$4.99.
