FlyCaddie Lets iPhone 3G Users Navigate Golf Courses

FlyCaddie

XMobile Solutions has announced the release of FlyCaddie (iTunes link) an application available for the iPhone 3G. The app allows golfers to locate themselves on thousands of golf courses in the United States and Canada.

FlyCaddie features an interactive GPS rangefinder and gives golfers an aerial view of the course being played. The application also incorporates score card entry so that golfers can manage every aspect of their game using FlyCaddie. Simple thumb control allows golfers to access the information available through the application.

According to the company, FlyCaddie adds courses to its database on a daily basis. Golfers also have the opportunity to request the addition of their favorite courses to FlyCaddie. These requests are typically added in 24-72 hours. A History option allows users to view past personal scores for any given course.

FlyCaddie is available for purchase at for US$34.99. This price includes the application and a year subscription to FlyCaddie updates. This subscription can be renewed for an additional US$34.99 per year.
