Wednesday, January 7th, 2009 at 4:23 PM - by Bryan Chaffin
Freeverse and Strange Flavour announced Wednesday SlotZ Racer, a slot car racing game for iPhone and iPod touch. As its name suggests, SlotZ Racer is a slot car simulation racing game that allows players to play against either the iPhone/iPod touch or against other players.
According to Freeverse, the game includes controls that allows up to four people to play against each other on a single iPhone. Users can compete for laps, race against a clock, drive an endurance race, or play in "Quick Race" mode.
The game also includes a track editor for designing your own courses. Lastly, the game includes unlockable circuits, cars, track locations, and championship challenges.
Pricing hasn't yet been announced, or a release date, which will depend, in part, on Apple approving the game for the App Store. The company has also not yet released screen shots from the game.
