German Developer succon Announces Tasty 1.0 Delicious Client for iPhone, iPod Touch

German software developer succont announced Tasty 1.0, the company's Delicious client for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch handsets on Monday. The application, which is designed around the devices' interface, allows users to easily manage their Delicious bookmarks from anywhere. Additional touches such as display support for titles, additional descriptions and even Favicons are included.

Tasty lets users create new bookmarks or edit existing ones, change the title, add a description, manage tags, and modify sharing options. All tags and bookmarks are available, and clicking a tag will display all related bookmarks. There is a preview for each URL to browse the website from within Tasty. With just one click, the website can be opened in Mobile Safari.

Additional features include the following:

* Browse existing, and add new bookmarks from everywhere
* Bookmark Details are displayed with a screenshot and recent comments
* Interface to edit bookmarks, including title, notes, tags and share status
* Preview Websites with the integrated Safari Preview feature
* Send links by E-Mail or open inside Mobile Safari

Tasty 1.0 requires iPhone OS 2.1 or later to install and run, is available in English or German, and retails for US$4.99 on the App Store until February 27th, when it scales back to its normal price of $12.84.
