- Goldfrapp
On their latest CD, Supernature, Goldfrapp has put together a successful mix of 1980-era New Romanticism, German cabaret, and T. Rex glam that leaves you riveted even through the album's lulls. It's a great amalgam that sounds current without sounding at all dated.

Give Your iPhone More Juice with RichardSolo 1800
Friday, January 9th, 2009 at 4:25 PM - by Bryan Chaffin
SAN FRANCISCO -- RichardSolo is showing the RichardSolo 1800 backup battery at this week's Macworld Expo. Richard Thalheimer, Founder, took a few moments to show us some of the features of this unique backup battery.
First and foremost, the RichardSolo 1800 is an 1800 mAh backup battery which can charge your iPhone to full in 60 minutes or less, and still have power left over for later charging. An included 110-240v AC wall charger is included for fast charging of the RichardSolo 1800, which can be charged even if it is connected to the iPhone, allowing you to charge both devices at the same time. Also included is a dual-port USB car charger, which allows you to charge both the RichardSolo 1800, as well as another device.

For iPhone 2G/3G users, the included support braces help protect the iPhone connector from flexing when connected to the battery. A secure latching mechanism makes sure the battery stays connected to the iPod. Gently pressing on buttons on both sides of the unit will let you disconnect it from your iPhone. If you're not using the RichardSolo for charging, you can take advantage of either the built-in LED flashlight, or a red laser pointer. An on/off switch helps prevent accidental use of the light or pointer. Finally, we quickly tested the RichardSolo 1800 in the TMO Labs, and it appears to also work with the iPod Touch.
The RichardSolo 1800 is priced at US$69.95.
