iLuv Introduces HD Radio with iPod Dock

iLuv announced Wednesday i169 HD Radio with iPod Dock and Dual Alarm Clock. As its name suggests, the device offers HD radio, an iPod dock for charging and playing music from your iPod, and a dual alarm clock.
On the radio side, the i169 will play AM and FM HD digital broadcasts. The i169 displays information from the HD Radio station including song name, band, frequency and more. It also supports standard AM and FM broadcasts for those in markets without HD digital broadcasts, and it includes PLL tuning digital tuning technology.
The iPod dock offers standard functions, including the ability to charge your iPod and play music from your iPod. The dual alarm clock can play music from your iPod for its alarms, or tap the radio as an alarm source.
For those without iPods, the i159 includes a standard 3.5mm jack as a line input.

The i169 is priced at US$169, and is expected to ship in early May of 2008. The company has not yet added information about the product to its Web site, but it will be posted in the audio and speaker system listing at the iLuv Web site.
