Bowie at Beeb: Best of BBC Radio 68-72
- David Bowie
The companion CD to a BBC television concert, BBC Radio Theatre has some of the best renditions of many of Bowie's best songs throughout his career. "I'm Afraid of Americans" is substantial

iPhone 1.0.2 Update Forces Restore, Disables Hacks
Tuesday, August 21st, 2007 at 4:00 PM - by Bryan Chaffin
The iPhone 1.0.2 update released by Apple on Tuesday forces a Restore for those who have used the Jailbreak hacks to unlock their phones, disabling those hacks in the process. iPodObserver.com confirmed this to be the case.
The Jailbreak hack allows iPhone owners to access the iPhone in ways not intended by Apple. It gives access to do things like add ringtones, modify OS X (the OS that makes the iPhone an iPhone), unlock the device without having an AT&T account, etc.
Both the 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 software updates for the iPhone required a Restore, but Apple has heretofore not disabled the tools used by the iPhone hackers to develop their hacks.
