- Spoon
Gimme Fiction by Spoon is a terrific album by an Austin band that I was lucky enough to catch on an Austin radio station during a Christmas visit.

iPhone, iPod touch 1.1.2 Updates Go Mainstream
Monday, November 12th, 2007 at 3:00 PM - by Jeff Gamet
The iPhone and iPod touch Software Update 1.1.2 shipped on the first batch of iPhones sold in Germany and the U.K., but didnt begin appearing as an option in iTunes until Monday evening. Apple is calling the update a security patch because it removes a flaw that could allow at attacker to use a maliciously crafted TIFF image to run arbitrary code on the hand held devices.
The update appears only in iTunes, and cant be download from Apples Support Web site.

Any iPhone or iPod touch that has been jailbroken to allow the installation of third party applications will lose the added programs, and will also be re-locked. It also appears that unlocked iPhones running on alternate cell carrier services are not disabled by the update.
Additional information about iPhone and iPod touch Software Update 1.1.2 is available at Apples Support Web site.
