iPocketBible Offers Text & Audio of Bible

Laridian, Inc. announced Thursday the release of iPocketBible New Living Translation Edition, an audio and text version of the Bible for the iPod product line. The product includes 73 hours of "professionally recorded MP3 audio" that is a dramatized reading of the work. The product also includes the text of the Bible though iPod Notes for those who wish to read along. The translation is based on a 1996 translation from the original Greek and Hebrew.
iPocketBible is priced at US$49.99, plus $5.50 for shipping and handling. The company said it requires and iPod with a Dock connector, and that excludes iPod shuffle units.
