iPod Ads, Podcast Control, Sony, New iPod shuffle

Our sister site The Mac Observer has been busy today, with several stories involving iPods. First up is a photo gallery from Macworld that includes a bunch of iPod ads around San Francisco. For our Windows-using readers, Macworld Expo is an annual trade show in San Francisco where Apple usually announces new products. For instance analyst Shaw Wu of American Technology Research expects Apple to announce an updated iPod shuffle at the show.
In Monday’s Mac Gadget, John F. Braun shows readers a Mac utility for auto-deleting old podcasts in iTunes, and early Monday morning, TMO reported on comments from Sony CEO Howard Stringer, who said that Apple had been smarter than his company with iTunes and iPod.
