iPod Certified for MacSpeech Transcription

MacSpeech announced on Wednesday that it has certified Apple's video capable iPod and three different microphones for recorded speech to text transcription. The Belkin TuneTalk, Griffin iTalk Pro, and XtremeMac MicroMemo were all tested satisfactorily with a fifth generation iPod, iListen, and the MacSpeech TranscriptionPak.
Although the microphone and iPod combo makes for a portable recording and transcription system, it does have limitations. It requires that only one person speak during the recording, and that the speaker have a trained profile in iListen.
