iPod Robot Hits Japan
Wednesday, August 30th, 2006 at 3:00 PM - by Jeff Gamet
ZMP Inc. out of Tokyo has developed a new robot just for the iPod. Miuro looks a bit like a robotic version of Princess Leia's ear muffs, and can follow you around while it plays music. We don't speak a lick of Japanese, but the MIT Technology Review has the specs: It's available in white, black, yellow, or red, navigates via remote control or add-on sensors, and can link wirelessly to your iTunes library. Miuro won't be available in the United States until later in 2007, and it will carry a US$930 price tag.
