iPod Silhouette Can’t Afford Her Own

One of the models featured in Apple’s iPod silhouette campaign can’t afford her own iPod, though she was paid some US$1,500 for three hours worth of posing. The New York Post reported Monday that Mandy Coulton, who wishes to be a full-time dancer, finds $400 for her iPod too much to justify.

"I can’t justify spending that much money when I have day-to-day stuff to pay for like the car and rent," she told the newspaper. "At the time, $1,500 seemed a lot of money - but now my picture is absolutely everywhere. But I’m not bitter or anything,"
