Thursday, October 9th, 2008 at 4:00 PM - by Jeff Gamet
Apples iPod touch took top honors in the T3 second annual Gadget Awards Thursday evening. The touch interface iPod won the Gadget of the Year award thanks to its "sterling music features, plus web and e-mail gubbins," and the media player also managed to take home the Best Music Gadget award.
Apples iPhone and MacBook Air also managed to win awards. The iPhone won the Best Computer Gadget Award, and the MacBook Air landed the Gadget Candy Award.
Other award winners included the Nikon D60 camera, the Audi R8, BBCs iPlayer, the Wii Fit, Guitar Hero III, the TomTom GO 930, the Sony PS3, and more.
Earlier this week Apple won five awards for the iPhone and iTunes in the British Technology Awards event. Apples iTunes Store earned the award for Best Music Technology, and the other four went to the iPhone for Gadget of the Year, Technological Innovation of the Year, Best Mobile Technology and Most Stylish Technology.
