iTunes 7.4.2 Addresses Ringtone Issues
Monday, September 17th, 2007 at 4:00 PM - by Jeff Gamet
Apple released yet another iTunes update Monday evening only about a week after the last. iTunes 7.4.2 addressed an issue with creating ringtones using iTunes Plus song purchases and also included stability and performance fixes.
While many iTunes users have installed the update without any incident, there are reports on Apples discussion boards of problems with missing songs, iPhone syncing issues, or errors stating that iTunes is linked to different library. Other users, however, are reporting that iTunes 7.4.2 fixes problems they experienced with iTunes 7.4 and 7.4.1.
iTunes 7.4.2 is free and available via Apples Software Update application, or as a download from the Apple Web site.
