iTunes: More Info About What’s on Your iPod

iTunes offers all kinds of information about whats stored on your iPod or iPhone, like how much space the music, videos, photos and other data is using. iTunes isnt limited to just showing you how much of your iPod is loaded with your favorite stuff -- it can also show you how many items are on your iPod, along with how much time it will take to play your music and videos.

To see additional information about the content on your iPod or iPhone, do this:
- Launch iTunes.
- Connect your iPod or iTunes to your computers USB port.
- Select your player in Devices section in the iTunes media list.
- Make sure the Summary tab is selected.
- Click the Capacity thermometer to rotate through showing storage space used, the number of items on your iPod, and how long it will take to play your music and videos.

You can also click Software Version to see your iPod or iPhones software build number, click Serial Number to see your iPhones Identifier number, or click Phone Number to see your iPhones IMEI and ICCID numbers.
