iPhone Game “The Hidden Park” Incorporates Real Parks

Australian developer Bulpadok on Tuesday announced the release of The Hidden Park, which incorporates New York City's Central Park, London's Kensington Gardens, Sydney's Botanical Gardens, and other real parks in a game that uses a GPS map of the location. Players take their iPhone around the real landscape, solving riddles and defeating magical creatures as they try to stop the park from  being overrun by developers.

Players also photograph locations in the park; the game places animated creatures in those images and stores them in a gallery for later viewing. Bulpadok is taking suggestions from users for new parks that should be incorporated in the game, which sells for US$5.99 and requires iPhone software 2.2.1.
