- Goldfrapp
On their latest CD, Supernature, Goldfrapp has put together a successful mix of 1980-era New Romanticism, German cabaret, and T. Rex glam that leaves you riveted even through the album's lulls. It's a great amalgam that sounds current without sounding at all dated.

This timeless masterpiece is little known, but it has inspired almost as many bands as The Modern Lovers' own inspiration -- and only slightly better known -- The Velvet Underground & Nico.

iPhone: Setting Data Self Destruct
Wednesday, May 20th, 2009 at 8:00 AM - by Jeff Gamet
Odds are the data you store on your iPhone or iPod touch is personal and important to you, which means you probably don't want other people seeing what you have stashed away. Since the average iPhone user can't easily delete their data if their handheld is lost or stolen, Apple included an option that automatically deletes the contents for you, and the feature is easy to turn on.
The iPhone and iPod touch Erase Data feature requires an active passcode to work, which is a smart option to use anyhow since it adds an extra level of privacy for your personal information.
To enable the Erase Data feature, do this:
- Tap the Settings button on your iPhone or iPod touch.
- Now go to General > Passcode Lock.

Set your data to self destruct if your iPhone is stolen.
- If you are already using a passcode, you'll need to enter it before continuing. If not, tap the Turn Passcode On button to add a four digit security code.
- Tap the Erase Data switch to change it from OFF to ON.
Once the Erase Data feature is active, all of your data will be deleted from your iPhone or iPod touch if someone fails to enter the correct passcode ten times in a row -- which is a likely indication that someone is trying to guess your passcode and get at your handheld's contents without your permission.
