Last Day of Work’s Virtual Families Sim Comes to iPhone

Last Day of Work, which bills itself as "an independent game studio specializing in sophisticated casual games for the mainstream player," on Tuesday announced the release of its simulation Virtual Families for iPhone.Previously available for Mac/PC, the game has players guide their digital people through life, deciding when to marry, whether to have children, what career to embark on, and so forth.

Virtual Families is a Sims-like game set in suburbia, where the characters deal with everything from moral dilemmas to such mundane situations as allergies and household chores. Players can solve puzzles around the house, amass unique collectibles to keep or sell, accumulate trophies for completing goals, and deal with random events, such as a visit from the tax man.

Pricing is US$3.99 and iPhone OS 2.0 is required.

Can anyone help.  When I close virtual families on my iphone it resets itself and when I open the application again it re-starts the game over. Is there anyway to save the game to play later?

Thanks!

That where you can’t save the game, it is a bug to do with the actual game, it is meant to save automatically but it doesn’t! I am having this exact same problem, well it worked fine for ages, then suddenly went all buggy and started not saving, it makes me so angry frown and even though everyone has tried to post to LDW asking to fix the problem, they haven’t done anything about it yet. I want a refund!!!
