    • It's an album about a breakup, done with beats instead of mopey lyrics. But the beats are raw, and the emotions are there, even if there aren't many words on top of it. While possibly not Scott Herren

    • Dropping like a bomb on some of the blah musical offerings of her contemporaries, Haunted was one of the best albums of 2000, obliterating the competition.

Mark/Space Says Missing Sync Still Works for iTunes & Palm Pré

Hot on the heels of Apple blocking the ability for the Palm Pré to sync with iTunes, developer Mark/Space issued a statement assuring users of Missing Sync that it still works. Missing Sync's sole purpose is to allow third party devices like the Palm Pré, BlackBerrys, and other such devices to sync with iTunes on a Mac (a Windows has also been announced).

At issue is iTunes 8.2.1, released earlier on Wednesday, that, "addresses an issue with verification of Apple devices." That "issue" had allowed Palm's Pré to sync directly with iTunes, without the use of third party utilities.

In its statement, Mark/Space said simply, "the Mac version of The Missing Sync for Palm Pre works with the latest version of iTunes, version 8.2.1, to let Pre owners sync music, ringtones and podcasts from a Mac to the new Palm Pre phone."

Missing Sync for Palm Pré is priced at US$39.95, and the company offers crossgrades from other versions of Missing Sync for $29.95.Missing Sync for Palm Pré

Hey Palm, see this is the right way to do it, not stealing from someone else.
