Memorex Debuts New iPod, iPhone Sound Systems

Memorex on Wednesday introduced three new sound systems for use with iPhone and iPod: Mi9490P Hi-Fi CD Sound System, Mi4290P Dual Alarm Clock Radio, and the Mi2290 Travel Speaker System. All three will ship later this quarter. Product pages were not available on the Memorex web site as this article was published.

The 30-watt Mi9490P Hi-Fi CD Sound System (US$139.99) features a slot-loading CD player, digital FM radio, a reversed segment LCD, and a remote control.

The 10-watt Mi4290P Clock Radio ($79.99) offers two alarms, digital FM radio a reversed segment LCD, an auxiliary line-in jack, and a remote control.

Finally, the Mi2290 Travel Speaker System features two 1.5-inch neodymium speakers, a backlit LCD display, auxiliary line-in jack, AC or battery power with up to 10 hours of playback time, and a neoprene travel sleeve.
