MINI Releases MINI Cooper Water Jet iPhone Game
Monday, January 26th, 2009 at 6:50 PM - by Bryan Chaffin
MINI Cooper's financial Arm, MINI Financial Services, has launched a new iPhone game called MINI Liquid Assets. The game is effectively a virtual water-jet game whereby the player moves game pieces by pushing on water jets that push those pieces around.
"The iPhone App is a natural fit for the large cross section of MINI drivers and Apple enthusiasts," Jim McDowell, Vice President of MINI USA, said in a statement. "We think "MINI Liquid Assets" is going to put a smile on people's faces -- a little like cruising around town with the top down on your new MINI Convertible."

The game is, of course, also a vehicle for the company to advertise the MINI Cooper, which appear as game pieces within the different game variations. There is also a Google Maps-driven "Find a MINI Dealer" feature for those inspired to go out and buy one.
The game is free, and it's available through the iTunes App Store (and we have an affiliate link to the game for those wishing to help support iPodObserver.com).
Gameplay is demonstrated in the YouTube video below the company released.
