Mobsters: Big Apple for iPhone: An Offer Not to be Refused

Social game developer Playdom on Tuesday made an offer that players of its Mobsters: Big Apple MySpace game shouldn't refuse: an iPhone version that integrates with the browser version or which can be set up for standalone gameplay. The MySpace version currently boasts 13.5 million players.
Mobsters: Big Apple features 65 missions, with new content added weekly; the iPhone version includes exclusive missions involving a mysterious Mr. X. Players begin their careers as petty thieves and eventually aspire to run their own mob family. They can collaborate with each other to complete missions or stab each other in the back to gain a greater share of the loot. Along the way, they accumulate cash and vehicles that allow them to take on more complex missions.
The game sells for US$0.99 and requires iPhone OS 2.2.1.
