nanoTune Combines FM Transmitter, FM Radio, Headphone Amplifier

Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) on Wednesday introduced nanoTune, an iPod nano accessory that combines an FM transmitter, an FM radio and a headphone amplifier. Selling for US$69.99, nanoTune also integrates a protective case that doubles as a desktop stand, as well as a 30-pin dock connector so that it can connect to other accessories.
nanoTune plays music over any available FM frequency between 88.1 and 107.9, with a backlit LCD that displays the current frequency. The Mode button switches it to FM radio mode or to iPod mode, where it amplifies the MP3 player’s volume by more than 25%. The accessory also repositions the headphone jack on the top of the nano.
