10tons Ltd. on Monday announced the availability of the casual puzzle game Dragon Portals, while Little Worlds Studio released the interactive game Scream in the Dark, which challenges players to "do better than all those teens slaughtered en masse in horror films." Both games are on the App Store.
In Dragon Portals, players must free friendly dragons from the dark magic keeping them earthbound by matching three or more same-colored orbs. They have more than a dozen power-ups to help get them through the game's 70-plus levels, and in survival mode them must try to keep going as long as possible. Pricing is US$0.99 until August 23, at which time it will increase to $4.99. iPhone OS 2.0 is required.
Scream in the Dark features more than 20 minutes of video with choices for players to make as they try to get away from the killer. The game features an unlockable bonus, and Little Worlds Studio invites players to vote on the game's Facebook page for the character who will be the bad guy in the next installment. Pricing is $0.99 and iPhone OS 2.2.1 is required.
