OnScreen DNA Pitch Count Tracks Baseball/Softball Pitches on iPhone

OnScreen Science, Inc. announced Wednesday the release of OnScreen DNA Pitch Count, an iPhone app for following and recording details of pitches in baseball and softball. Users enter minimal information as they watch or listen to a game, and the software collates it into useful data.
The software tracks the following stats:
- kinds of strikes: foul, swinging, called, ball put in play
- third strikes: swinging, called
- balls
- total pitches
- batters faced
- outs recorded
- strikeouts
- base runners
- how many runners reached base by: walks, hits, errors, hit by pitch, other
- runs allowed
OnScreen DNA Pitch Count is priced at US$2.99 in the App Store, and is found in the sports section.
