Proloquo2Go 1.0 Offers Assisted Speech for iPhone

AssistiveWare announced the release of Proloquo2Go 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch on Wednesday. Proloquo2Go is a communication solution for people who have difficulty speaking.
Proloquo2Go 1.0 provides augmentative and alternative communication to people suffering from speech impairments bringing text-to-speech voices, up-to-date symbols, automatic conjugations, and a default vocabulary of over 7000 items to the iPhone and iPod touch.
Proloquo2Go 1.0 uses Acapela Group's Text-to-Speech voices, North American English male, female, girl and boy voices. British English voices will soon be available as an option. Support for other languages and voices is in development.
Proloquo2Go 1.0 also features VocaSpace vocabulary that includes close to 8000 symbols from SymbolStix LLC. Conjugation support is provided through Ultralingua's Grammatica technology.
Proloquo2Go 1.0 is available on the App Store for US$149.99.
