Random Ideas Releases Edibles 2.3 Food-Journalism App for iPhone, iPod Touch

Software developer Random Ideas, LLC announced Monday the release of Edibles 2.3, the company's food journaling application for the iPhone and iPod touch handsets. The application allows you to track either calories, carbs, or virtually any single user-configurable item.The new version adds synchronization abilities with the free Edibles Online service, and the ability to add notes to log entries.
The application also includes weight journaling and support for the Edibles Online web portal, which provides the ability to do over-the-air backups and restores, share food lists and journals, and enables users to edit their foods using a web browser. Membership in Edibles Online is free.
Edibles 2.3 requires iPhone OS 2.2 or later to install and run and retails for US$5.99 on the App Store. The update is free.
