Scramble Live, Smack Me Released for iPhone

A pair of new games have come to the iPhone: Zynga's word game Scramble Live and FunMobility's Simon Says-like Smack Me. Scramble Live (US$4.99; $2.99 for a limited time), which built its popularity on Facebook, allows players to compete against each other in real time over the Internet, whether they also have an iPhone or iPod touch or they're using Facebook. Solo and pass-and-play modes are also available.

Smack Me ($2.99) features a retro 80s videogame soundtrack and is hosted by a robot named Ito, who challenges players to quickly respond to his actions by taking advantage of the iPhone's accelerometer and multi-touch interface. For example, when Ito drinks a milkshake, players must shake him, and when he raises lobster claws, they need to pinch him.
