SiK Introduces Pimp Car Charger for iPod

Palo Alto-based SiK introduced its pimp adapter, a new car charger with line-out audio support for the iPod, on Friday. The unit is compatible with all fourth generation or later iPod models (except the iPod Shuffle) and connects to any 12-volt accessory or cigarette lighter socket.
The pimp can also charge another audio device as well as get its power from your iPod battery in order to continue playing music.
SiK's pimp retails for US$55 and will begin shipping in U.S. locations, the SiK Store, Amazon.com, Other World Computing and other retailers. The device arrives with a free one-year warranty and is available in an aluminum design accented with stainless steel.
