Ten One Design Released SoundClip Sound Enhancer for iPhone

New York-based iPhone accessory manufacturer Ten One Design, LLC announced the release of the iPhone's first passive sound enhancer on Monday, the SoundClip, which enhances the iPhone's audio by 5kH and 20kHz.

The SoundClip, which fits securely in the 30 pin dock connector at the base of the iPhone, guides the sound directly toward the user, offering a more concentrated sound quality that may otherwise be lost without it. The device can also prevent the hand from blocking the iPhone's speaker when the handset is held in landscape mode, such as during gaming.

When not in use or while syncing and charging, it attaches to the charge cable with its cord-gripping feature.

“We are in the business of helping iPhone enthusiasts enhance their iPhone experience,” said Peter Skinner, Ten One Design CEO. “The SoundClip allows users to amplify and achieve consistent sound when gaming, watching movies and listening to music.”

The SoundClip is immediately available and can be purchased for $7.95.

When I read the RSS summary I thought that this was software or an electronic gadget. Even as simply a plastic shape, this might be handy and if I can get one locally, without paying shipping and handling, then I will give it a try.
