iPO Quick Tip
Thanks for the Free Music, Starbucks
Wednesday, May 27th, 2009 at 8:00 AM - by Jeff Gamet
Free and legit music downloads are always a nice find, so like everyone else, I always check out Apple's free song of the week at the iTunes Store. I also make a point to swing by my local Starbucks because they give away a free iTunes song each week, too.
Starbucks coffee shops offer up a different song for free at the iTunes Store each week, no strings attached. Just pay a visit to a store near you and pick up the current "Pick of the Week" card.

Starbucks gives away a new song each week.
Just like Apple's "Single of the Week" feature, the Starbucks "Pick of the Week" highlights a different artist each week.
Once you have a "Pick of the Week" card in hand, just enter the redemption code from the back in iTunes to start downloading the free track.

Use the Redeem option in iTunes to enter the free song code.
Of course, there are plenty of places on the Internet to find free music, but Apple and Starbucks are doing their part to make it a little easier to try out new songs without having to shell out any cash, and without having to worry about whether or not the track licensing is legit.
