Vocalia 2 Adds Bookmark, iPod Voice Control Support to iPhone

Creaceed announced the immediate availability of Vocalia 2.0 on Friday. The new version of the speech recognition application for the iPhone and second generation iPod touch added voice control support for Mobile Safari bookmarks along with the ability to search for songs in the handheld's iTunes library.

Users can search for songs by saying the artist or group name, and the app also displays available voice commands, and includes proximity sensing for better recognition accuracy in noisy environments.

Vocalia 2.0 requires an iPhone or second generation iPod touch with iPhone OS 3.0 and a built-in or headset microphone. It is priced at US$3.99 and is available at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.
