"Black Milk" knocks me off my feet in this collection of moody and eclectic songs. Massive Attack uses samples and keyboards in a very unique way, but not all the songs pack the same punch.
While "Angel" drives like a Dust Brothers song, the vocals on "Man Next Door" make me want to punch the singer just to get him to shut up. The good outweighs the annoying, however, even while the latter drives down the album's overall rating.
